Before too long , under the NEP ( New Education Policy ), universities will be “ obliged “ to allow their students to enroll on SWAYAM site and take “ courses “ for certain subjects
There is bound to be some pressure from students that their university permits this ( for umpteen reasons )
Problem :
Although universities have their own ( well oiled ) “ Examination Systems “ ( setting question papers – conducting exams in a physical classes – exam supervisors – exam paper assessors – mark system – multiple choice vs subjective exams etc ) , they have , at present, NO system for conducting exams, for the courses for which their students enroll on SWAYAM
Of course , SWAYAM itself does offer to the enrolled students , options for > Offline exams > Online Exams ( Rs 1000 / exam )
I suppose that SWAYAM must be also giving “ marks “ or “ grades “ ( for each SUBJECT )
Universities just :
Ø Do not have any clue how to “ integrate “ the SWAYAM’s exam system with their own existing systems
Ø No idea of what kind of “ Online Evaluation / Assessment “ platform to develop , exclusively for SWAYAM offered courses
What has all this background to do with > www.My-Teacher.in AND > www.Surprise-Exam.in ?
We can take “ advantage “ of this vacuum by :
Ø Mock Tests for ( some most popular subjects offered by SWAYAM ) into My-Teacher
Ø Surprise Exams ( for same subjects ) in www.Surprise-Exam.in
Obviously , there is no chance of our PLATFORMS getting officially “ recognized “ by SWAYAM ( since it has one of its own )
BUT ,
Surprise – Exam platform might “ get copied “ by the Universities ( ready-made ? )
Or , some College Principals may ask their Professors to conduct “ Surprise Exams “ ( using our platform till their own platform gets ready )
Even if that does not happen , I believe that lakhs of students who enroll on SWAYAM for various courses , would like to “ practice “ taking such Mock Tests on My-Teacher
On Surprise-Exams platform , I would like to offer ( generation of tests ) for :
Ø School Standards 9 – 10 – 11 – 12
Ø NEET – JEE – CET
Ø SWAYAM ( most popular subjects like Physics – Chemistry – Biology and Maths )
Please find out whether :
Ø What are the most sought after courses / subjects , on SWAYAM
Ø Whether it is possible to download “ Course Materials “ for these
Ø To what extent is there an “ Overlap “ of Course Materials of SWAYAM, with “ what we already have for NEET-JEE – CET
If there is substantial overlap , then with our existing course material database, we can generate Mock Tests for SWAYAM , right away !
No one will be able to “ figure out “ how we pull this off !
As far as inclusion of 9-10-11-12 standards ( in Surprise-Exam ) is concerned , logic is very simple / demanding
Before long , under NEP , the final “ Grade “ for 12th standard will need to take into account, the marks obtained by a student in her exams of 9-10-11 th standard AS WELL !
A facility to generate { and distribute } Surprise Exams , right from 9th standard onward, would make acceptance of our platform , very smooth , in all schools
