In all these years , against my 1000 + emails to Cabinet Ministers, there was only ONE reply from Prakash Javadekar  - in just one word “ Good “ !

It is highly probable that :

#  Ministers / Babus , may have received similar suggestions from many others as well ( - I have no monopoly on ideas ! )

#  They might have thought of this ( my suggested idea ) independently, on their own

Hence, I cannot “ claim “ that what happened was purely due to “ my idea “ !

But in all of these cases , I read news ( online / papers ) about some government action in this regards , a few months after sending my email in each case !

Irrespective of where the credit belongs , what is most important is that some sensible solution was found / implemented for a genuine problem

During our gathering yesterday , I got the impression that your current interest covers :

#   Electoral Reforms

#   Construction Industry

On   both these subjects, I have written several blogs . If you wish , I could send you the relevant links

Keep Shouting : You will be heard

For decades now , when it came to suggesting something to the government, it was :

Apply ,  Apply  -  No  Reply  !

It was enough to turn a Cynic out of a Citizen

But , with the arrival of NDA government at the centre , things have changed

If you keep chasing the Cabinet Ministers ( politely, of course ), you will be heard

Instead of just complaining how bad things are , if you make a  concrete / constructive suggestion on how things can be changed, chances are it will be heard and even get implemented !

It may still be :  No Reply  !

But that did not deter me from sending hundreds of suggestions to our Cabinet Ministers over the past 4 – 5 years

aside all feeling of “ helplessness / negativism “ and send your concrete and constructive

suggestions to our Cabinet Ministers and NITI Aayog

It is time to rise above cynicism and say :

We will overcome .  Our will shall prevail
