SHORTAGE OF SKILLS CENTRES

Dear Shri Manish Kumarji,

I write with reference to following news report in Business Line :

Shortage of skill centres is a challenge: NSDC 

where you say :

“  “We need to train at least 2 crore people every year, but right now we’re training only 1.05 crore. We need to double our capacity and for that cooperation from all the stakeholders is needed ” 

Over the years, I have made a few suggestions on increasing our “ Skilling Capacity “ through participation of the private sector .
