Some expert in solar panel business visited China last year. He found solar panels - low cost/cheap, medium cost/medium quality, high cost/high quality.

I only hope we do not become dumping ground for low cost/cheap variety which are good only for landfills in a year or two.

Your decision in-spite of  recommendation of The Directorate General of Safeguards Duty ( DGS ), to levy a “ Safeguard Duty “ of 70 % , in order to protect local solar panel / module manufacturers against imported Chinese Panels , which are 25 – 30 % cheaper than locally manufactured panels
