Dear Prof Damahe

I write with ref to our discussions last Monday re projects for the 7^th semester  computer stream students
I am glad that , with an enthusiastic support from the faculty , a number of students came forward to develop following web sites as their projects :

Ø  www.B2BmessageBlaster.com

Ø  www.B2CmessageBlaster.com

I have already booked URLs for both in the name of RecruitGuru
During the interaction with the students/faculty , I was informed that,

Ø  The 7^th semester will stretch till end Nov. 2013

Ø  The students will devote 7/8 hours every week for the projects

Ø  Even some ( interested ) 8^th semester students may get roped in

Ø  There will be 2 teams ( of approx 6/8 students each ) , working on each web site

Ø  Each team will be divided into 2 groups of 3 / 4 students and share the development effort

Ø  Each team will be guided by 2 faculty members

As far as page write-ups / User Interfaces are concerned , I have already sent the same to you for www.B2BmessageBlaster.com
For www.B2CmessageBlaster.com is concerned , I will send these to you , latest by coming Monday ( 22nd )
Mr Shuklendu Baji ( MD – Sentient Systems ) has kindly agreed to guide the students and the faculty in matters of web site design / architecture / technology etc. He can be reached on Skype / TeamViewer / Email or Mobile

In relation to these projects , I propose ( subject to your concurrence ) as follows :

Ø  At the end of successful completion of these projects , RecruitGuru will offer to each participating student , a gift voucher of Rs 1,000 / - and to each participating Faculty Member , a gift voucher of Rs 2,000 /-

Ø  Both web sites must be fully ready for testing by Sentient System Team , by end of Sept 2013

Ø  Sentient System Team will complete the testing by 10^th Oct and give feedback / correction instructions to Project Teams

Ø  Project Teams will carry out these corrections and make a presentation to an audience ( to be decided by you ), in the week starting 28^th Oct

Ø  You may wish to constitute a Panel of Judges who will judge the presentations and pick the Winner Team

Ø  Sentient Systems will upload the projects on RecruitGuru server and launch these web sites on 17^th Nov 2013 ( Mine and Bharati’s 54^th wedding Anniversary )

Please let me know if you agree with this proposal / time-frame

Our assigning these projects to LTIT students carry the following conditions :

Ø  Neither the students nor the faculty nor anyone else in the know of the projects , shall divulge / share / transmit any details of the projects to a third party

Ø  The Source Code and the Documentations developed shall be handed over to RecruitGuru and only RecruitGuru shall have the sole/exclusive Intellectual Property Rights to these

Ø  No copy of the Source Code / Documentation shall be retained with or by LTIT or any of its employees or any of the students

Notwithstanding the above-mentioned conditions , I am agreeable to give due Credits to the concerned project-students by inserting , at the bottom of each page ( of the concerned web site ) , write-up / hyperlinks as follows :

Guided / Maintained by : Sentient Systems
Developed by : Students of L&T Institute of Technology

If you so desire , this last hyperlink can link to a new page of LTIT web site , where you may display brief profiles / photos of the concerned students
Considering that both of these web sites will be extensively used by Employer Companies , such an hyper-linking  will bring into limelight , the concerned students and vastly increase their “ Employability “
